Privacy policy
RequiredAllows processing of your data in accordance with GDPR.
Analytics & improvement
Allows Oppall to analyze aggregated (non-identifying) usage to improve the platform, stability, and speed.
Notifications & emails
Receive push notifications and emails for: moderation notices, new followers, comments, legal updates.
Personalized content (optional)
Light sorting based on your follows. Default feed is CHRONOLOGICAL = no invasive personalization.
Automated moderation (AI)
Allows AI to analyze images, text, and videos for safety (abuse, spam, harassment). Humans recheck before action.
Private messages (DM/Spheres)
Allows DM access for harassment/abuse reports. No systematic access, only when you report.
Minor protections (13-18)
If you are 13-18: automatic DM restrictions (approved contacts only), stronger sensitive content moderation.
Personalized ads
Oppall sometimes shows ads in your feed. On: they match your interests. Off: they stay generic. Minors never receive personalized ads, and Premium removes ads entirely.
These preferences are managed in the app, under Settings › Consents.
Changes apply immediately. Some consents are required to ensure Oppall's safety and operation.
